Protected Estate Management
A unique, highly personalized service focused on providing mutual satisfaction for the protected person and their family.
Our Philosophy
The close liaison between the protected person, their family and our team is essential to maintain an understanding of the problems with which the protected person and their family are having to manage. Our staff are readily available at all times to assist in dealing with emergencies including medical and domestic matters.
The special needs of the protected person are identified and we can engage carers and housekeepers, arrange the purchase of specialised equipment, purchase of a suitable motor vehicle, the purchase of a house and have it modified and maintained.
The investment portfolio management is conducted through our Investment Committee and all recommendations for investment are then approved by an independent consultant before the recommendations are acted upon. The Investment Committee meets regularly and maintains ongoing contact between meetings.
We maintain our control over all financial matters. We receive all income and disburse all outgoings. Internal controls and procedure management are carefully maintained.
We are here to:
- Invest and manage your damages award
- Help you provide for daily living
- Assist you with daily living
- Assist you with special needs
Our Experience
After our first appointment as Trustees of a Protected Estate in 1984, our portfolio of Estates has increased to over 30 Protected Estates. This has led us to having a unique and deep understanding of the personal, legal and investment intricacies that are peculiar to these assignments.
We have developed relationships with lawyers, stockbrokers, nursing agencies and building maintenance companies to enable the best outcome for a protected person.
With many years experience dealing with all the everyday issues associated with the management of a Protected Estate, our team is committed to making life as easy as possible for the protected person.
